Abstract

Un regulador de flujo que demanda variable (10) regula el flujo de agua dentro de un edificio basandose en una alimentacion variable de agua y presiones de demanda variable. Cuando aumenta la demanda de agua corriente abajo del regulador de flujo, disminuye la presion del agua en el lado de corriente abajo de la válvula del piston (200) y un piston (201) de la válvula de piston (201) se desplaza en la direccion de corriente abajo. Esto da como resultado que una cantidad mayor de orificios de acceso (320) estén expuestos al flujo de agua permitiendo así un mayor flujo de agua cuando aumenta la demanda. Una válvula ajustable de purga (500) controla las características de flujo del regulador (10) afectando el movimiento del piston (201).
