Abstract

Procedimiento para realizar una escoria espumante sobre un acero inoxidable en fusion dentro de un horno eléctrico caracterizado por que: se introduce en la escoria un polvo que contiene en su composicion al menos un oxido metálico y carbono se reduce al menos un oxido contenido en el polvo por la reaccion de éste con el carbono para formar en la escoria burbujas compuestas esencialmente por metal en estado de oxido metálico y monoxido de carbono, generando las burbujas contenidas en la escoria una escoria en forma de una espuma estable.
