Abstract
Las sales son preparadas haciendo reaccionar una benzidrilamina de formula I (o una sal de la misma) con ácido clavulánico (o una sal de mismo) en un solvente orgánico, y asilar la sal resultante. En la formula I, cada R1 y R2 son preferentemente hidrogeno o un substituyente aceptable (Ver Formula) Las sales del ácido clavulánico pueden ser usadas en formulaciones farmacéuticas junto con un agente farmacéuticamente aceptable, y, opcionalmente, un antibiotico beta-lactama.
