Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona la formacion de una superficie de conversion de hierro-fosfato, o una superficie bi-metálica de hierro/fosfato en metal, in situ, en motores de equipo mecánico, usando el aceite lubricante como el medio para poner en contacto los complejos de agua, poliméricos, inorgánicos, bimetálicos de fosfato y/o fosfato con todas las partes metálicas en el motor. Los complejos de agua, poliméricos, inorgánicos se forman de acuerdo con las Patentes Norteamericanas Nos. 4,533,609 y 5,310,419. El componente bi-metálico puede ser cualquier metal de la clase I hasta la clase VIII de la tabla periodica. Los complejos de agua, poliméricos, inorgánicos, bi-metálicos, de fosfato y/o fosfato se adicionan al aceite lubricante mientras que el motor está funcionando y el aceite está caliente.
