Abstract
La presente invencion describe compuestos de formula (I): en donde R1 es CN, CH2CN, CH=CHCN, CHO, o CH=CHCO2H, R2 es arilo-alcoxi inferior, heteroarilo-alcoxi inferior, arilo-alquiltio inferior o heteroarilo-alquiltio inferior, en los cuales cada una de las porciones de arilo y heteroarilo está opcionalmente substituida, R3 es halogeno, R4 es arilo opcionalmente substituido o heteroarilo opcionalmente substituido, R5 es carboxi o un isostero de ácido, X es oxígeno o azufre, y n es cero o 1; y sus N-oxidos y prodrogas, y las sales farmacéuticamente aceptables de los mismo. Los compuestos tienen actividad de antagonistas de endotelinas, y son utiles como compuestos farmacéuticos.
