Abstract

El método de la presente invencion, determina la posicion angular de un objetivo dentro de un área, definida mediante el traslape de las áreas de percepcion de un par de sensores opticos, mediante la interpretacion de las intensidades de las señales relativas del par de sensoresopticos. Una vez que la posicion angular es determinada, se puede calcular la distancia del objetivo desde una línea, ya sea perpendicular o paralela, a la línea central de la distribucion direccional del sensor, si la otra cantidad es conocida.
