Abstract

La invencion se refiere a una composicion adhesiva de fusion por calor elastomérica que comprende un elastomero termoplástico y una resina espesante, el elastomero (s) termoplástico (s) siendo un copolímero de estireno/butadieno/estireno (SBS) o una mezcla de estireno/butadieno/estireno con estireno/isopreno/estireno (SIS), en donde SIS está presente en una cantidad igual o menor que 50% en peso del copolímero de bloque total, la composicion se caracteriza porque: a) es capaz de unirse, cuando se aplica a partir del estado fundido, a materiales de plástico y/o celulosicos con una fuerza de desprendimiento de 90 degree no mayor que 0.5 N/cm; b) tiene una retencion de resistencia a la tension después de 50 ciclos de por lo menos 40%; y c) tiene una viscosidad de 120,000 cps o menos a 180 degree C y un esfuerzo cortante aplicado de 80 seg-1.
