Abstract

Un aparato para formar una hoja de material, v.gr., pasta o masa, a partir de un suministro del material incluye un par de rodillos girables que definen entre los mismos un espacio en el cual se introduce una pasta o masa y hacia afuera del cual se produce una hoja de pasta. Las fluctuaciones en el tamaño del espacio del rodillo son detectadas por cambios de deteccion en la posicion de uno de los rodillos, dichos cambios siendo introducidos a un sistema de servomecanismo que corrige automáticamente la posicion de un rodillo para mantener el tamaño de espacio apropiado. El rodillo está moviblemente montado en forma de tijera y es fácilmente impulsado por un motor de servomecanismo. Se provee un cortador que presiona contra uno de los rodillos para cortar porciones de pasta individuales de la hoja. Los extremos del cortador se someten a un momento de doblez que induce una combadura en el cortador. Eso evita que la porcion central del cortador se arquee en alejamiento del rodillo y asegura una presion uniforme entre el cortador y el rodillo, incluso para aplicaciones de un cortador extremadamente largo y rodillos.
