Abstract

Una prueba de susceptibilidad del antibiotico a base de bacteriofago se lleva a cabo mantenimiento una muestra del paciente en un pozo (12) sellado durante la adicion del bacteriofago y el substrato de Luciferina usado en la prueba, a fin de impedir la contaminacion del medio ambiente del laboratorio. El bacteriofago se adhiere en forma secada a un disco (26) portador de metal que es retenido debajo de la tapa (20) del pozo de muestra sellado, por medio de un imán (24) extremo y se mezcla con la muestra del paciente removiendo el imán (24) extremo y permitiendo que el disco (26) portador caiga hacia la parte inferior del pozo (12) de muestra. El substrato de Luciferina se adhiere al lado inferior de la tapa (20) y se mezcla con la muestra del paciente mediante agitacion o inversion del pozo (12) de muestra sellado después de que el disco (26) portador de metal se ha separado del lado inferior de la tapa (20). Una hilera de pozos (12) de nuestra conectados y tapas (20) que se puede emplear para permitir que la nuestra del mismo paciente se pruebe con antibioticos multiples.
