Abstract

Se describe en la presente un surfactante copolimérico de siloxano-oxialquileno que tiene la formula MDxD'yM en donde M representa (CH3)3SiO1/2 o R(CH3)2SiO1/2, D representa (CH3)2SiO2/2, D' representa (CH3)RSiO2/2, y el valor de x + y es de 48 a 220, y la proporcion x/y es de 5 a 15 inclusive. En las formulas anteriores para M y D', R es un sustituyente que contiene poliéter, seleccionado del grupo que consiste de: 1) porciones -CnH2NO(C2H40)aC3H6O)bR' que tiene pesos moleculares promedio en peso en el intervalo de 2300 a 3400, y en donde n es de 3 a 4, la proporcion a/b es de 0.5 a 1.3 inclusive, R' representa hidrogeno, un grupo alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono o -C(O)CH3, y 2) porciones -Cn'H2n'O(C2H4O)a'(C3H6O)b'r' que tienen pesos moleculares promedio en peso en el intervalo de 750 a 1400 y en donde n' es 3 a 4, a' es un numero tal que los residuos de oxido de etileno constituyen de 30 a 100% en peso de los residuos de oxido de alquileno del poliéter, b' es un numero tal que los residuos de oxido de propileno constituyen de 0 a 70% en peso de los residuos de oxido de alquileno del poliéter, R' representa hidrogeno, un grupo alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono o -C(O)CH3, y el peso molecular promedio de la mezcla de los sustituyentes R que contienen poliéter en la composicion, está en el intervalo de 1500 a 2200, y la proporcion molar EO/PO total está en el intervalo de 0.65 a 1.2. Los surfactantes son utiles en la produccion de espumas planas de poliuretano flexible.
