Abstract

En un proceso para esterificar ácido (met)acrílico con un alcanol en presencia de un catalizador de esterificacion en el que los compuestos de partida no reaccionados y el éster (met)acrílico formado se separan mediante destilacion y se obtiene un producto inferior que contiene ésteres oxi, el producto inferior se separa y ya sea el producto inferior se mezcla directamente con ácido (met)acrílico y los ésteres oxi presentes en el producto inferior y luego se disocia a una temperatura elevada en presencia de catalizadores ácidos diferentes al ácido (met)acrílico, o los ésteres oxi primero se separan mediante destilacion del producto inferior, el destilado se mezcla con ácido (met)acrílico y luego se disocia a una temperatura elevada en presencia de catalizadores ácidos diferentes del ácido (met)acrílico.
