Abstract
Una composicion de revestimiento que comprende: a) un polímero que tenga por lo menos un grupo funcional que sea reactivo con un agente de entrecruzamiento; b) un agente de entrecruzamiento; c) un grupo de hidrazida que se está unido al polímero a), al agente de entrecruzamiento b), o a parte de un compuesto distinto de a) o b). La capa base , la capa transparente y los revestimientos de compuestos de color más capa transparente que comprenden la composicion descrita arriba proporcionan una buena resistencia a la degradacion de la superficie, causada por exposicion a luz ultravioleta o visible, o a severas condiciones de exposicion a la intemperie. De igual forma, los revestimientos demuestran una buena retencion de la nitidez de la imagen (DOI) y brillo, bajo una exposicion extendida y severa a la intemperie. Cuando un compuesto de hidrazida se utiliza en una capa transparente de un revestimiento de compuesto de color más capa transparente, se obtiene una buena adhesion entre capas. Un método para mejorar la resistencia que una película curada tiene a la degradacion ambiental comprende aplicar, a un substrato, una composicion de revestimiento que sea una capa base o una capa transparente que comprenda la composicion de revestimiento descrita arriba.
