Abstract
Un proceso para deshidrogenar catalíticamente una antrahidroquinona para formar antraquinona y un producto de hidrogeno. Un catalizador que es un metal, un compuesto de metal, o un metal o compuesto de metal disperso en un soporte o es un líquido que se selecciona para tener una electronegatividad mayor de aproximadamente 2.30 para dar por resultado una conversion esencialmente completa de la antrahidroquinona en antraquinona e hidrogeno y para eliminar esencialmente de esta manera la formacion de subproductos de hidrogenolisis indeseados, tales como antronas y/o antranoles.
