Abstract

La presente invencion proporciona una composicion y uso de una composicion que comprende una formulacion de polímero de ácido policarboxílico reticulado, bioadhesivo que permite el uso de cantidades relativamente bajas de agentes anti-STD, tales como N-9 para utilizarse para prevenir la infeccion por las STD sin provocar la irritacion al tejido genital que con frecuencia acompaña a las dosis elevadas de anti-STD.
