Abstract

Esta invencion se refiere a un aparato y a métodos para procesar piezas de trabajo sobre un tejido continuo en movimiento usando energía ultrasonica. El sistema ultrasonico incluye uno o más juegos, cada juego conteniendo los dispositivos de aplicacion ultrasonica correspondientes primero y segundo, correspondiendo a un cuerno ultrasonico y a un yunque correspondiente. Un primer elemento del juego está montado sobre un tambor de trabajo giratorio el cual porta el tejido de piezas de trabajo mientras que las piezas de trabajo están siendo procesadas con energía ultrasonica. El segundo elemento del juego está montado para girar con el tambor de trabajo. Al girar el tambor de trabajo, el segundo elemento gira con el tambor. Con cada rotacion del tambor de trabajo, el segundo elemento se extiende sobre el tambor de trabajo y el primer elemento, la energía ultrasonica es aplicada a la pieza de trabajo, y el segundo elemento se retira de sobre el tambor de trabajo y el primer elemento.
