Abstract

Se presenta un hilo de poliolefina capaz de un encogimiento mejorado quecomprende una hebra continua de varias fibras de monofilamento o fibras debase de material de polímero de propileno que consiste esencialmente decuando menos aproximadamente 5 partes por peso, pero menos de 50 partespor peso de polímero de propileno sindiotáctico que tiene una fracciónpentadal sindiotáctica de 0.7 o más, mezclada con polímero de propilenocristalino isotáctico, cada material de polímero de propileno seselecciona en forma independiente dentro del grupo que consiste de: (I)homopolímeros de propileno; y (II) copolímeros de propileno cristalinoaleatoria, terpolímeros o ambos, que consisten esencialmente deaproximadamente 80 a aproximadamente 98.5% de propileno; y deaproximadamente 1.5 a aproximadamente 20.0% de cuando menos un comonómeroseleccionado dentro del grupo que consiste de etileno y de alfa-olefinasC4-C8, dicho copolímero contiene de preferencia entre aproximadamente 2 yaproximadamente 10% de etileno cuando dicho alfa-olefina C4-C8 no seencuentra presente; y dicho terpolímero contiene de preferencia entreaproximadamente 0.5 y aproximadamente 5% de etileno cuando dichaalfa-olefina C4-C8 se encuentra presente; e incluye mezclas de talescopolímeros y terpolímeros, donde dichas cantidades se expresan enporcentaje en peso. Telas, especialmente telas de pelo como las dealfombrado se presentan, las cuales se elaboran a partir del hilo y tienenpropiedades de retención de apariencia mejoradas.
