Abstract

Una mecha o espoleta (cartucho) con energía mínima, que comprende un tubode plástico con un canal, el canal contiene un material reactivo capaz,mediante detonación o ignición, de sostener una onda de choque dentro delcanal, el tubo comprende por lo menos dos capas de materiales plásticos,una primera capa plástica más cercana al canal, y una segunda capaplástica fuera de la primera capa, por lo menos la segunda capa contieneuna cantidad principal de resina de polímero orientable por tracción oarrastre. El polímero en la segunda capa es orientado axialmente a ungrado de orientación (como se define) de más de 25% y menos de 95%, y elpolímero de la primera capa tiene un grado de orientación axial que noexcede al 10% de unidades de grado de orientación más que la segunda capa.El tubo se puede fabricar por a) formación, por extrusión de la primeracapa de plástico, la primera capa en forma de tubo, b) introducir elmaterial reactivo en el canal del tubo, c) limitar la tensión oestiramiento de la primera capa para proporcionar un grado bajo deorientación, que no exceda al 10% (como se define), d) formar porextrusión de la segunda capa plástica, la segunda capa alrededor delprimer tubo, mientras que la primera capa tiene el grado bajo deorientación, y e) estiramiento en frío de la primera y segunda capasjuntas.
