Abstract

La presente invención está dirigida a un método para la medición de petróleo crudo contenido en un gas que fluye en una línea de gas, el cual incorpora los pasos de obtener una muestra de gas a partir de la línea de gas, hacer pasar la muestra de gas a través de un purgador selectivo de petróleo crudo, medir el volumen de muestra de gas, y medir el volumen de petróleo crudo atrapado. El purgador selectivo de petróleo crudo incluye un serpentín enfriado y al menos un cilindro lleno con un fluido que es no soluble con el petróleo, y el cual está preferentemente refrigerado.
