Abstract
Se describe un agente novedoso que comprende ácido (+)-(25,35)-3((S)-3-metil-1-(3-metilbutilcarbamoil )butil-carbamoil))-2-oxilancarboxílico, su sal o su éster etílico, que es útil para tratamiento y prevención de cataratas, y método para su preparación del mismo que comprende el ajustede un pH de unsolvente acuoso de tal manera que el pH de la preparación final car en la escala de 3 a 7 antes o despuès de mezclar el compuesto con el solvente acuoso. El agente de la invención posee excelente efecto en el tratamiento y prevención de cataratas, y particularmente el agente que tiene un pH de 3 a 7 muestra capacidad de penetración en córnea superior y es estable.
