Abstract

Se obtienen mezclas de alcoholes decílicos isoméricos, mediante la hidroformilación de mezclas que contienen buteno-1 y buteno-2, en dos pasos, a mezclas de aldehído condensación de la mezcla de aldehído separados y reunidos, con formación de una mezcla de aldol, y separación e hidrogenación de la mezcla de aldol. La mezcla de alcoholes decílicos isoméricos produce, mediante esterificación con ácido ftálico, una mezcla isomérica de ftalato de decilo, el cual tiene aplicación como suavizador.
