Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método y aparato de codificación/decodificación de imagen. Un método de decodificación de imagen realizado por un aparato de decodificación de imagen incluye determinar un tipo de división de un bloque actual, dividir el bloque actual en una pluralidad de bloques de capa inferior basado en el tipo de división, y decodificar los bloques de capa inferior. En este caso, el bloque actual puede ser un bloque de croma, y la determinación del tipo de división del bloque actual puede ser realizada rechazando un tipo de división predeterminado que tiene una anchura o altura de los bloques de capa inferior siendo un valor predeterminado, entre una pluralidad de tipos de división.
