Abstract

Un método para determinar propiedades de formaciones rocosas usando mediciones de vibración de la sarta de perforación, que incluye introducir en un procesador señales correspondientes a las vibraciones detectadas a lo largo de una parte giratoria de una sarta de perforación mientras se hace un agujero de perforación; las señales de vibración son transformadas en señales transformadas que representan la respuesta elástica de la sarta de perforación, las formaciones rocosas y el fluido del agujero de perforación a un impulso filtrado que se origina en una ubicación conocida a lo largo de la sarta de perforación; las propiedades de las formaciones rocosas se calculan usando las señales transformadas.
