Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso de polimerización de olefina que se lleva a cabo en la presencia de un sistema catalizador que comprende un catalizador de prepolimerización, un activador de catalizador a base de boro, un cocatalizador de alquilaluminoxano, y un compuesto de fenol impedido. El catalizador de prepolimerización es un complejo de titanio y tiene un ligando de indenoindolilo con puente a un ligando fenoxi mediante un grupo sililo. El sistema catalizador es efectivo en la polimerización de etileno con alfa-olefinas en un proceso de polimerización en fase de solución a altas temperaturas y produce copolímeros de etileno con alto peso molecular y altos grados de incorporación de alfa-olefina.
