Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un método para la producción de fibras metálicas, en particular, fibras de acero, de material plano en forma de cinta, las fibras metálicas teniendo una sección transversal esencialmente rectangular y al menos una, preferentemente ambas caras laterales de fibra más anchas estando provistas con al menos una muesca de anclaje en forma de V que se extiende en la dirección longitudinal de la fibra. Se emplea como cinta metálica en primer lugar una materia prima adaptada a la resistencia exigida a la fibra metálica en el uso posterior. La cinta metálica se alimenta en una primera línea de producción en forma de un rollo de una bobina de salida (1) accionada y controlada a una unidad de alineación y transporte (3). Después de una tijera de despuntar (4) que forma el comienzo de la cinta se alimenta la cinta metálica a un tren de laminación de perfil (6) consistiendo de un cilindro superior y un cilindro inferior, formado como herramienta de laminación, que conforma tanto las muescas de anclaje como las muescas de rotura. La banda metálica pasa a continuación por una unidad de rajar y alinear (7) para rajar y aplanar los anclajes en las muescas de rotura teniendo uno o múltiples pares de cilindros de rajar, y se vuelve finalmente a bobinar en forma de rollo por un dispositivo de devanar (8). A continuación se realiza la última etapa del proceso de la producción de fibra en una unidad de separación longitudinal y transversal.
