Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para elaborar un concentrado enriquecido en contenido mineral de hierro a partir de una mena, que contiene un mineral de hierro y silicato, mediante flotación inversa, en donde el método comprende la etapa de (c) agregar una composición colectora que comprende (i) una amidoamina, que contiene un compuesto de la Fórmula I (ver Fórmula) (I), o una sal de un compuesto protonado de la Fórmula I y un anión; (ii) un etoxilato, que contiene un compuesto de la Fórmula II RE-O-(-CH2-CH2-O-)n-H (II), en donde RE es un C10-C20 alquilo alifático lineal o monorramificado o un C10-C20 alquenilo alifático lineal, y n es un entero de 1 a 12, a una pulpa acuosa preparada de la mena y opcionalmente uno o más auxiliares de flotación para obtener una mezcla acuosa. Además, se describe el uso de la composición colectora como un colector de flotación y la composición colectora en sí.
