Abstract
RESUMEN DE LA INVENCIÓN Los métodos y sistemas de calcinación de relaves deshidratados y/o residuos de minas se describen en este documento. En algunas modalidades, el método comprende (i) el procesamiento de relaves deshidratados que comprenden minerales arcillosos, (ii) la calcinación de relaves procesados a relaves calcinados producidos, y (iii) la alteración de una composición y/o una o más características de los relaves calcinados para producir un producto cementoso. La alteración de la composición puede incluir mezclar los relaves calcinados con uno o más aditivos, como cal, cal dolomítica, polvo de horno de cal, piedra caliza argilácea, caliza, cal viva pulverizada, carbonato de calcio molido, cal viva, yeso, puzolanos naturales, puzolanos artificiales, agua, fluidificantes, o similares.
