Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al uso de un relleno poroso para reducir la permeabilidad al gas de una composición de elastómero, así como a un proceso para producir la composición de elastómero que comprende el relleno poroso y la composición de elastómero en sí. El relleno poroso se selecciona entre carbonato de calcio reaccionado superficialmente, hidromagnesita precipitada y mezclas de los mismos. La adición del relleno poroso a la composición de elastómero permite reducir la permeabilidad al gas de la composición de elastómero al tiempo que conserva o mejora las propiedades mecánicas de la composición de elastómero.
