Abstract
En la presente descripción se describen los métodos para la preparación de derivados de boronato en la síntesis de compuestos antimicrobianos y sus usos. En la presente descripción se describen los métodos para preparar un compuesto de la Fórmula (B) mediante la reducción del grupo cetona del compuesto cetoéster de la Fórmula (A), y la reducción puede realizarse mediante el uso de un sistema catalítico que se basa en Rutenio o mediante el uso de un sistema de biorreducción de la alcohol deshidrogenasa.
