Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una fibra de cítricos activable que contiene pectina y a un procedimiento para su fabricación. La invención se refiere, además, al uso de la fibra de cítricos que contiene pectina como espesante o agente estructural en diferentes productos industriales. Además, la invención se refiere a una mezcla de la fibra de cítricos activable que contiene pectina con una pectina soluble y un producto alimentario, producto de forraje, complemento alimenticio, bebida, producto cosmético, producto farmacéutico o producto medicinal que se han fabricado usando la fibra de cítricos que contiene pectina de acuerdo con la invención.
