Abstract
Un proceso para la eliminación de materia particulada de una corriente acuosa que contiene un ácido concentrado, preferiblemente ácido sulfúrico concentrado, el proceso comprende la filtración mecánica al pasar la corriente acuosa a través de una unidad de filtro, la unidad de filtro comprende filtro metálico, de cerámica o polimérico, o un filtro que comprende un auxiliar de filtro sobre un septo. La corriente acuosa es la corriente de salida de un condensador de ácido sulfúrico, opcionalmente la corriente de salida de un concentrador de ácido sulfúrico dispuesto corriente abajo del condensador de ácido sulfúrico.
