Abstract

En la presente descripción se describe un rotor para una máquina eléctrica. El rotor comprende: un eje central; un tambor del rotor dispuesto radialmente hacia afuera del eje central, en donde el tambor del rotor comprende un cilindro hueco para llevar imanes permanentes sobre una superficie interna y/o externa del cilindro hueco, y en donde el tambor del rotor es coaxial tanto con el eje central como un eje rotacional del rotor; y una tapa dispuesta para acoplar el eje central al tambor del rotor para permitir que el tambor del rotor y el eje central giren conjuntamente alrededor del eje rotacional. Una porción interna de la tapa está acoplada al eje central en una primera posición a lo largo de la longitud del eje rotacional, y una porción externa de la tapa está acoplada al tambor del rotor en una segunda posición a lo largo de la longitud del eje rotacional. La primera posición está a una longitud diferente a lo largo del eje rotacional hacia la segunda posición.
