Abstract
The present invention relates to a prolonged release transdermal patch for treating skin infections, comprising a first layer or semi-occlusive layer, being external in direct contact with the environment, a second layer or intermediate layer being of prolonged release of an active ingredient dispersed therein, and a third layer or adhesive layer being an inner layer in direct contact with the skin of a patient, allowing the immediate release of an active ingredient dissolved in it.
