Abstract
Método y estación para revisar un neumático (2) para llantas de vehículos en una estación de revisión (27). La estación de revisión (27) comprende un fondo (49) con una superficie de soporte (36) que se encuentra en un plano perpendicular a un eje de referencia (Z), un aparato de adquisición de imágenes (47) para adquirir al menos una imagen (23) del neumático dispuesto con una primera superficie lateral externa en contacto con dicha superficie de soporte (37) y una segunda superficie lateral externa (21) frente a dicho aparato de adquisición de imágenes (47), un sistema de iluminación (50) y una computadora (48) adaptados para generar una imagen de trabajo (24) a partir de al menos una imagen adquirida (23) del neumático. El método dispone la preparación del aparato de adquisición de imágenes (47), el sistema de iluminación (50) y el fondo (49) para generar un contraste, en dicha imagen de trabajo (24), entre al menos la segunda superficie lateral externa completa (21) del neumático y un área que rodea circunferencialmente (22) dicho neumático (2), misma que corresponde a al menos una parte del fondo (49), incluyendo al menos una parte de la superficie de soporte (36). El método también dispone generar la imagen de trabajo (24) a partir de las imágenes adquiridas y el procesamiento de la imagen de trabajo (24) para realizar al menos un procedimiento de revisión del neumático (2) en el que la segunda superficie lateral externa (21) del neumático se distingue del área circundante (22) por medio de dicho contraste.
