Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método de almacenamiento de un biocatalizador, cuyo biocatalizador es capaz de convertir acrilonitrilo en acrilamida, que comprende las etapas de (a) proporcionar una suspensión acuosa que comprende el biocatalizador, que es capaz de convertir acrilonitrilo en acrilamida, cuya suspensión acuosa es un caldo de fermentación acuoso; (b) secuencialmente en cualquier orden o simultáneamente (b1) concentrar la suspensión acuosa que comprende el biocatalizador a una concentración de al menos 3% (p/p); y (b2) reducir la temperatura de la suspensión acuosa que comprende el biocatalizador a una temperatura menor de 8°C, lo que, de este modo, forma una suspensión acuosa concentrada; y (c) mantener la suspensión acuosa concentrada de la etapa (b) a una temperatura menor de 8°C. La invención también se refiere a una composición de biocatalizador obtenible mediante este método y también el uso de la composición de biocatalizador en un proceso de preparación de solución acuosa de (met)acrilamida a partir de (met)acrilonitrilo. La invención además se refiere a un método para producir una solución acuosa de (met)acrilamida que comprende el método de almacenamiento mencionado anteriormente y también a un método para producir poliacrilamida que comprende el método de almacenamiento mencionado anteriormente.
