Abstract

Se describe un horno de una sola cámara para emitir humo de un metal evaporable o compuesto metálico de una carga metalúrgica que comprende un horno de baño para contener una carga fundida de hasta un nivel determinado, el horno que está equipado con una antorcha de plasma no transferido para la generación de plasma y un primer inyector sumergido para inyectar el plasma bajo el nivel determinado, del horno que además comprende una zona de poscombustión para formar una forma oxidada del al menos un metal evaporable o compuesto metálico, y una zona de recuperación para recuperar la forma oxidada del gas formado en la zona de poscombustión, por lo cual el horno está equipado además con un segundo inyector sumergido para inyectar gas extra en el horno bajo el nivel determinado; además se describe el uso del horno y un proceso para emitir humo de un metal evaporable o compuesto metálico de una carga metalúrgica.
