Abstract

Un retardante de llama que contiene fósforo se produce preparando una mezcla de reacción, incluyendo la mezcla de reacción un ácido fosfónico, un disolvente para el ácido fosfónico y un metal o un compuesto metálico adecuado, y hacer reaccionar el ácido fosfónico y el metal o compuesto metálico adecuado en las condiciones descritas en el presente documento. La composición química del producto retardante de llama resultante conduce a un retardo de llama excelente y presenta una estabilidad térmica alta.
