Abstract
Un método sin agitación mecánica para hacer una mezcla homogénea de sólidos de cloruro de polivinilo y al menos un aditivo líquido y/o un aditivo sólido en partículas sin agitar mecánicamente ni fundir los sólidos de cloruro de polivinilo durante la fabricación. El método comprende aplicar energía acústica a una frecuencia de 20 a 100 hercios a una mezcla heterogénea que comprende los sólidos de cloruro de polivinilo y el aditivo líquido y/o aditivo sólido en partículas durante un período de tiempo suficiente para entremezclar sustancialmente los sólidos de cloruro de polivinilo y el aditivo líquido y/o aditivo sólido en partículas, manteniendo la temperatura de la mezcla heterogénea por encima del punto de congelación del aditivo líquido, por debajo del punto de fusión del aditivo sólido en partículas, y por debajo de la temperatura de fusión de los sólidos de cloruro de polivinilo, haciendo así la mezcla homogénea sin agitar mecánicamente ni fundir los sólidos de cloruro de polivinilo.
