Abstract
Una composición a base de polietileno bimodal que es útil para elaborar en condiciones de extrusión de película una película que tenga beneficiosamente tanto una disminución de la velocidad de transmisión de vapor de agua como una disminución de la turbidez. La composición comprende un diseño mejorado de la composición de la mezcla de polietileno de un constituyente de polímero de polietileno de mayor peso molecular y un constituyente de polímero de polietileno de menor peso molecular y una cantidad eficaz de un agente nucleante. Las formas de modalidad adicionales incluyen un método para elaborar la composición a base de polietileno bimodal, una formulación que comprende la composición a base de polietileno bimodal y al menos un aditivo, un método para elaborar un artículo fabricado a partir de la composición o formulación a base de polietileno bimodal; en donde el artículo elaborado de ese modo, el uso de la composición a base de polietileno bimodal para proteger un material sensible a la humedad, y un envase sellado elaborado a partir de aquella.
