Abstract

En el presente documento, se describe un sistema HVAC y un método mejorados para configurar un sistema HVAC para una instalación rentable y una operación eficiente en términos energéticos para edificios residenciales de unidades múltiples. En una realización de ejemplo, una habitación mecánica está dimensionada para alojar simultáneamente la mayoría de los equipos HVAC, pero también para operar ventajosamente como la cámara de mezcla de aire del sistema HVAC para una unidad de acondicionamiento de temperatura y humedad montada en la pared y un conjunto de soplador, en función de las cargas de calentamiento y enfriamiento máximas y el requisito de flujo de aire mínimo necesario para un espacio habitable definido. Esta ventaja permite la eliminación de una o más cámaras impelentes mecánicas para el espacio de mezcla de aire, así como la flexibilidad a la hora de situar los componentes del HVAC en el espacio proporcionado.
