Abstract
Se describe un método para decodificar un flujo de bits de video codificado implementado por un decodificador de video. El método incluye determinar que una secuencia de video codificada (CVS) del flujo de bits de video codificado incluye una unidad de capa de abstracción de red (NAL) de capa de codificación de video (VCL) que tiene un tipo de unidad de capa de abstracción de red (NAL) de actualización de decodificación gradual (GDR) (GDR_NUT), la unidad de NAL de VCL que tiene el GDR_NUT que contiene una imagen de GDR; iniciar la decodificación de la CVS en la imagen de GDR; y generar una imagen de acuerdo con la CVS como se decodifica.
