Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un sistema y método para detectar e identificar dispositivos controlados por portadoras sobre líneas eléctricas dentro de un sistema de riego que tiene un BUS de PLC y una pluralidad de dispositivos alimentados por PLC. De acuerdo con la primera modalidad preferida, el método puede incluir preferentemente las etapas de: inicializar un controlador; transmitir una señal de identificación al BUS del PLC; recibir la señal de identificación transmitida por un primer dispositivo alimentado en la línea de transmisión; registrar la intensidad de la señal de identificación recibida mediante el primer dispositivo alimentado; reducir el nivel de la señal de identificación recibida en un incremento dado; recibir la señal de identificación transmitida por un segundo dispositivo alimentado en la línea de transmisión; registrar la intensidad de la señal de identificación recibida por el segundo dispositivo alimentado; reducir el nivel de la señal de identificación recibida en un incremento dado; recibir la señal de identificación transmitida en el controlador; sondear cada dispositivo alimentado por la intensidad recibida de la señal de identificación en cada dispositivo; crear una tabla de búsqueda y asignar un número ID del sistema a cada dispositivo alimentado con base en los niveles de señal informados que se reciben por cada dispositivo; y enviar señales de comunicación al primer dispositivo alimentado con base en el número ID asignado por el sistema que se indica en la tabla de búsqueda.
