Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para determinar la longitud media de filamentos formados en la atomización rotativa de una composición de material de revestimiento, que comprende al menos los pasos (1) a (3), específicamente la atomización de la composición de material de revestimiento por medio de un atomizador rotativo que comprende como elemento de aplicación una boquilla de campana con capacidad de rotación (1), captura óptica de los filamentos formados aquí en el borde de la boquilla de campana, mediante al menos una cámara (2), y evaluación digital de los datos ópticos obtenidos de esta forma, para proporcionar la longitud media del filamento de aquellos filamentos formados por atomización que se encuentran en el borde de la boquilla de campana (3), y también a métodos para recopilar una base de datos electrónica y para cribar composiciones de material de revestimiento cuando se desarrollan formulaciones de pintura, llevado a cabo en base al método mencionado anteriormente.
