Abstract
Se proporciona un método para fabricar un bastidor estructural lateral de carrocería unitario para un vehículo. El método comprende proporcionar una pluralidad de piezas en bruto, uniendo las piezas en bruto entre sí para formar una pieza en bruto compuesta en la que unir las piezas en bruto incluye formar una o más regiones superpuestas formadas superponiendo parcialmente dos piezas en bruto y deformando la pieza en bruto compuesta para formar el marco estructural unitario del lado del cuerpo. También se proporciona un bastidor estructural unitario del lado de la carrocería obtenido mediante cualquiera de los métodos aquí descritos.
