Abstract

La invención se refiere al uso de vectores de virus adenoasociados (AAV) para lograr la expresión a largo plazo de un transgén en el hígado de un sujeto juvenil. 5 La invención incluye la mejora estable a largo plazo de los síntomas de la enfermedad del sujeto después de una sola administración de un vector de AAV a un sujeto juvenil, en donde el vector de AAV suministra el transgén al hígado del sujeto.
