Abstract

En la presente se describen indicadores de temperatura umbral de reacción retardada y métodos para preparar y activar los mismos, los indicadores de temperatura umbral de reacción retardada que incluyen un primer sustrato, una primera y una segunda capa y una carcasa fijada al sustrato. La primera capa incluye un primer reactivo y un polímero fundible opcional, y la segunda capa incluye un polímero fundible y un segundo reactivo. El polímero fundible está configurado para evitar que el primer y segundo reactivo interactúen entre sí. Cuando se expone a temperaturas en y/o por encima de un umbral deseado durante un período de tiempo, el polímero fundible se funde y permite que el primer y el segundo reactivo entren en contacto entre sí, produciendo así un cambio visual en la apariencia.
