Abstract

The present disclosure is related to a mechanism for the manufacturing of folding string instruments that allows the radical reduction of the space occupied by the instrument, since it allows the folding of the neck without having to remove the strings; which additionally maintains them in tension so that they retain their tuning when the instrument is folded. When it is unfolded for its execution, is not necessary to string it and tune it, so the execution can be carried out immediately without causing any wear on the strings, in addition to facilitating its carrying in all types of transportation and occupying less space when the same is stored.
