Abstract
La divulgación proporciona un sistema de filtración para un aparato para el cultivo celular y un método de cultivo celular. El sistema de filtración comprende un recipiente del biorreactor y dos o más filtros de flujo tangencial alterno (ATF) conectados en paralelo. Un sensor en línea detecta un fallo en cualquiera de los filtros, y un sistema de respuesta automatizado funciona para secuestrar el filtro que funciona mal al detener el flujo de medio líquido a través del filtro. El flujo de medio a través de los filtros operativos restantes se puede aumentar de modo que la velocidad de perfusión a través del biorreactor permanezca relativamente sin cambios. Un sistema de este tipo puede prevenir problemas que surgen de fallos en los filtros de ATF en biorreactores de perfusión convencionales, mejorando con ello la viabilidad a largo plazo de los cultivos celulares.
