Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para monitorizar un sensor de radar FMCW y a un sensor de radar FMCW que tiene una pluralidad de osciladores locales (32), método en el cual se mezcla una primera señal de oscilador local de un primer oscilador local (32) de los osciladores locales con una segunda señal de oscilador local de un segundo oscilador local (32) de los osciladores locales en un mezclador (38) a una señal de banda base y se evalúa la señal de banda base, una falla que se detecta por medio de un resultado de la evaluación. En particular, se refiere a un método para monitorizar un sensor de radar FMCW así como un sensor de radar FMCW, que tiene una pluralidad de componentes de alta frecuencia (10, 12, 14, 16), que en cada caso tienen una parte transmisora y receptora (20) para emitir una señal de transmisión a por lo menos una antena (26) asociada con el componente de alta frecuencia y para recibir una señal de recepción de al menos una antena (28) asociada con el componente de alta frecuencia.
