Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a la eliminación de microorganismos patógenos en diversas superficies, especialmente en superficies duras en donde estos organismos pueden permanecer activos durante periodos relativamente largos, ha sido desde hace mucho tiempo un objetivo de los encargados de limpiar y mantener una cocina y baños antisépticos en el hogar, así como en entornos comerciales e institucionales como hospitales, clínicas médicas, hoteles y restaurantes. Otro objetivo ha sido impedir la formación de alérgenos causados por el crecimiento de moho y hongos en las superficies del baño. Además, un recubrimiento puede aplicarse como líquido y solidificarse en un recubrimiento duro. Ejemplos de recubrimientos son pulidos, limpiadores de superficies, masillas, adhesivos, acabados, pinturas, ceras, composiciones polimerizables. Esta invención se refiere además a composiciones de limpieza, sanitización, desinfección e inhibición de moho para superficies duras no porosas como el vidrio, porcelana vitrificada, metálica, baldosas de cerámica, esmalte, fibra de vidrio.
