Abstract

Se proporciona un evaporador para evaporar agua de un cuerpo de agua ambiental. El evaporador incluye una carcasa que a su vez incluye un canal de flujo de aire y una salida de flujo de aire. El evaporador también incluye un dispositivo de inducción del flujo de aire, tal como un ventilador o impulsor, que facilita el dirigir una corriente de flujo de aire a través del canal de flujo de aire y fuera de la salida del flujo de aire. Un dispositivo de inyección de agua está en comunicación fluida con el canal de flujo de aire y está dispuesto para inyectar el agua del cuerpo de agua en la corriente de flujo de aire en una ubicación de inyección de agua dentro de la corriente de flujo de aire y próxima a la salida del flujo de aire. El sistema de inyección de agua incluye un miembro tubular alargado dispuesto paralelo con respecto al eje longitudinal, una pluralidad de nodos de inyección de agua dispuestos en el miembro tubular y separados longitudinalmente entre sí, y un soporte para situar el miembro tubular alargado dentro o cerca del canal de flujo de aire de modo que la pluralidad de nodos de inyección de agua se sitúe dentro de la corriente de flujo de aire.
